Ashre' is a tribe of eight women who join voices and the steady beat of the drum to perform music inspired by celebration, spirituality and love originating in diverse cultures across the world.

As a choral ensemble, Ashre' members also play West African drums - both djembes and djun-djuns.

These women practice different faith traditions and use that grounding place of sacred intent to produce, practice and perform their music.

Through public performances, Ashre' strives to promote a culture of peace, reconciliation and hope.
